成人高等教育莱西函授站是莱西市职工教育办公室与山东省各有关高校联合设立的。 1995年设青岛农业大学（原莱阳农学院）莱西函授站；1999年设山东工商学院（原中 国煤炭经济学院）莱西函授站；2000年设鲁东大学（原烟台师范学院）莱西函授站； 2001年设滨州医学院莱西教学基地；2003年设潍坊学院、潍坊工程职业技术学院(原 潍坊教育学院)莱西函授站；2004年设山东大学药学院莱西函授站；2005年设聊城大 学莱西函授站；……从1995年举办成人高等教育今已走过十几年的历程，目前已在 省内各处设立40个招生点，成人在校学生4500余名。被各高校评为先进函授站。在办 学渠道上，进一步扩大生源覆盖面，坚持“立足莱西，面向全省，逐步走向全国”的 发展战略。
